THIS BLOCK PARTY IS IN THE HEART OF ROCK ISLAND, ON FIFTH AVENUE at 18TH AND 20TH STREETS. MUSIC, FOOD, SPEAKERS, AND SERVICES WILL BE PROVIDED. THIS IS A CHANCE FOR PEOPLE OF THE QUAD CITIES TO COME TOGETHER TO BUILD BRIDGES ACROSS RACIAL, ETHNIC, AND CULTURAL LINES. WE WILL BLESS THE BLOCK
FOOD
Everyone can have one free hot dog and a bag of chips. Local food trucks and vendors will also be available to purchase a great meal. |
ENTERTAINMENT
Music, fashion, dance, spoken-word poetry, and encouragement will be featured on two stages on each end of 5th Avenue. |
SERVICES
All kids will be able to select a backpack and their own school supplies. There will also be voter registration, public library cards sign-ups, and other important services and organizations. |
The people of Grace City Church and Two Rivers Church are excited to create this community-building event. We are called by Christ to love our neighbors, build bridges, and create a beloved community. We are two churches who are different in many ways, but are united by our love of God and our love of neighbor.

There will be two parties going on at once, with plenty to do at both locations along 5th Avenue between 18th Street and 20th Street. Grace City is at 1925 5th Ave. Two Rivers is at 1820 5th Ave.
